• ABOUT THE CONTROLS---The MORE control is the volume which also adds subtle gain.The JIVE control provides a sweet presence.Both give minimal gain as increased, like the preamp section on a good vintage tube amp. The SPANK is a touch sensitive gain control capable of producing pure creamy liquid overdrive without being muddy. The Hoochee-Mama has excellent note separation and is essentially a preamp in a pedal form.The Hoochee-Mama loves single coils, as well as humbuckers, and can be used as a boost to make other pedals sound bigger, or as a stand alone overdrive.
